These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer") and ONYXmobile ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of our website, booking system, and mobile auto repair services.
By booking a service, visiting our website, or engaging with our team, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with booking or using our services.
ONYXmobile provides on-location mobile auto repair services, dispatching certified mechanics to the customer's specified address. Services include but are not limited to brake repair, alternator replacement, vehicle diagnostics, and other mechanical repairs as listed on our website or confirmed at the time of booking.
Service availability depends on location, mechanic scheduling, and the nature of the requested repair. Same-day service is offered where available but is not guaranteed. We will confirm availability at the time of booking.
Not all vehicle types, makes, models, or repair situations can be serviced on-site. If a repair requires shop equipment or is otherwise beyond the scope of mobile service, we will advise you accordingly. We reserve the right to decline any service request that falls outside our operational capabilities.
All standard repairs include VIN-matched parts sourced to suit your specific vehicle. Customers who prefer to supply their own parts may do so and will be charged for labor only. ONYXmobile is not responsible for the quality, warranty, or compatibility of customer-supplied parts, and our standard service warranty will not apply to such repairs.
Bookings can be made through our website or by calling our team directly. A booking is confirmed once you receive written or verbal confirmation from ONYXmobile. You are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted during booking is accurate, including vehicle details, service address, and contact information.
Please ensure the vehicle is accessible at the confirmed location and time. If the mechanic arrives and is unable to access the vehicle due to circumstances within the customer's control, a call-out fee may apply.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a booking in cases of mechanic unavailability, severe weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will notify you promptly and work to find the earliest available alternative time.
All service prices are confirmed to the customer before any repair work begins. Prices displayed on our website are starting rates and may vary based on vehicle year, make, model, and specific repair requirements. Your confirmed price will be communicated at the time of booking and will not change unless additional issues are discovered during the repair that require your approval before proceeding.
A deposit may be required to confirm your booking. Deposit amounts will be stated clearly at the time of booking. The deposit amount is applied toward the total cost of the service.
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment through the methods listed on our website and booking confirmation. All payment processing is handled through secure third-party processors.
Failure to remit payment for completed services may result in the pursuit of recovery through legal or collections means. The customer agrees to be responsible for any reasonable costs incurred in the collection of outstanding amounts.
Customers may cancel a booking prior to the mechanic departing for the service location. Cancellations made after the mechanic has been dispatched may result in a call-out fee.
Diagnostic fees of $130 are refunded in full toward the cost of the repair if the customer proceeds with the service. If the issue cannot be identified, a full refund of the diagnostic fee is issued. If the customer chooses not to proceed with a recommended repair after a diagnosis has been completed, the diagnostic fee is non-refundable.
Refund requests for completed repairs must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the service date and must relate to a covered defect under our warranty terms outlined in Section 6.
All completed repairs carried out using ONYXmobile-supplied parts are covered by a 12-month / 10,000-mile warranty from the date of service, whichever occurs first. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and part failure under normal operating conditions.
If a covered defect arises within the warranty period, we will return to the service location and complete the necessary corrective work at no charge to the customer.

ONYXmobile is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle during a service.
ONYXmobile takes every precaution to deliver safe, professional repair services. However, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services, including loss of use of the vehicle, loss of income, or any secondary damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a specific service shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for that service.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
As part of our service process, our mechanics capture photographs of the vehicle and repair work before, during, and after each appointment. These photos are used to verify completed work, support warranty claims, and provide you with a transparent record of your service.
By booking a service, you consent to the collection of these photographs. Images may be retained in our records for up to three years. We will not publish identifiable photos of your vehicle without your consent.
All content on the ONYXmobile website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and booking system functionality, is the property of ONYXmobile and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our prior written consent.
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which ONYXmobile operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
In the event of a dispute arising from or related to these Terms or our services, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith communication. If a resolution cannot be reached informally, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.
You agree to bring any claim on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
